ANTONOV CHARTER

These two 48 tonne roll bodies for the mining and gas industry were required urgently by the client.

Needless to say the Antonov AN124 was the right choice for the job. It was therefore chartered and loaded with haste in Italy.

From Milan to Perth the airplane had to stop and refuel 6 times for the journey.

Each roll body was 5m x 2.42 x 2.3 / 48 Tonne and took a strategic conveyor system to roll the bodies in and out of the plane body for loading and unloading.
